Garrett enjoys handling complex and novel matters in a wide range of areas, including family, rental, business transaction, probate, and real estate law. His primary practice is insurance law, with an emphasis on helping homeowners in their claims against the largest insurance companies in Florida.
Garrett has experience in all facets of an insurance claim, from pre-litigation to the appellate level. He has represented hundreds of homeowners throughout the state. And he has briefed for appellate courts complex issues such as the Wrongful Act Doctrine, Matching, the 90-Day Statute, the Duty to Adjust, Sovereign Immunity and Bad Faith, and Declaratory Judgment actions.
It doesn’t matter if your claim involves liability, a drain line backup, a roof leak, a pressure-line burst, or other property damage. Whenever an insurance company wrongfully denies a client’s rightful claim, Garrett litigates. Let him represent you and he will keep you informed and prepared for each step that comes.
When he is not in court, Garrett spends his free time enjoying his home town of Miami. You can find him golfing, fishing, boating, snorkeling, or otherwise savoring the parts of Miami that make each day another day in paradise.
